Team Yamaha's Tim Ferry had his night cut short when he crashed in a semi. Ferry went down hard and complained of chest pains and was spitting up blood. "He might've cut his mouth, but we're not sure," said Yamaha's team manager Keith McCarty. Moments later, after getting off the phone with the hospital, McCarty said of Ferry's condition: "There's nothing wrong, but he's going to have a CAT scan just to be sure. They are going to keep him overnight for observations, but it looks as though he is going to be okay. He took a hit to the chest area."
