From: Cycle USA, July 2000, p. 2, by James Pinkard

Bruce Norcutt was injured April 16, in a freak accident. On approach to a triple his throttle stuck sending him off his bike over the jump. Bruce crushed one of his vertebrae leaving him paralyzed from the waist down. Bruce is a long-time racer from our area and this day was entered into the 40+ class.

Rich's Comments: Why do throttles stick at jumps? Bikes should be inspected at every event. If each severe accident was investigated, we could prevent some future injuries.
