Bad Tracks
Grain Valley - We have received
several complaints concerning injuries at this track. Please let us know
if they have made any improvements for the 2002 season.
ORV park, Thurston County, Washington - Our ORV park, Thurston County has the most dangerous conditions that I have ever
seen. We spent the weekend there 3 weeks ago. The track is all about big
air, and there are no flaggers. There was a rider killed on Friday, and on Sunday we saw 4 riders
leave in an ambulance. There must have been 100 riders at a time on the
track, all skill levels, and bike sizes, no flaggers. I had a long talk with the
guy that runs the park, and I just don't think that he gets it. He said that the guy that got killed
was "riding over his head". I am surprised that the police haven't shut the place
down. Please list them as unsafe.
Rich's Response: We posted on SX.com and unfortunately, it sounds like
this guy is 100% right. Riders, please let us know if somebody starts to improve this facility.
